Worthy 2 Be Loved's goal is to implement Creative Group Therapy to improve the mental health of students, seniors, and employees by providing a safe space to creatively express themselves with their peers while helping them process their feelings through therapy. As a result, the community can improve behaviorally, socially, emotionally, and in efficiency which positively impacts families, communities, businesses, and future generations.
Across age groups, many have been struggling silently regarding their identities, worth, and life's purpose. It is difficult for them to speak up, but a lot easier for them to "act up." I believe that the same way we all have different learning styles, we also have different "healing styles." A lot of behavioral issues, write-ups, and conflicts we see are actually symptoms of deeper issues that haven't been dealt with because many may not know how to talk about it.
For this reason, I come to you and do Group Creative Therapy where I incorporate dancing, acting, poetry, drawing and other forms of art into therapy that accommodates the group I am working with. This program will increase positive behavior, productivity, and efficiency, as it cultivates peaceful environments by helping teens with behavioral issues, seniors with depression or loss of purpose, and employees who feel like they've encountered work-place trauma or toxic work-environments.
Here, people will be able to creatively process feelings, experiences, and triggers by identifying the seeds that produced unwanted weeds in their lives. Then we plant seeds that bring fruit that allow changes that positively impacts them and everyone around them.
